| GAVSV calculates power ratings for each team based on the team's performance on the field. It usually takes 4 or 5 weeks before these power ratings become meaningful. This year we have assigned pre-season power ratings based on last year's performance and the results of our top 25 poll. These ratings are just a starting point and are NOT meant to be a prediction of how each team will finish the year. The team's actual power rating will be determined by each team's performance and by the 5th week of the season, these pre-season assignments will have very little effect. |
